There were three siblings whose mother passed away four years ago. They tried to sell her house by listing it on the MLS, but no one would buy it. It had an old pool that need to be filled in and it was in need of a new roof. The house had continued to sit vacant with the bad roof for the last four years. Tom bought their home as-is, allowing the three siblings to not only to finally close the chapter on their mother’s passing, but to also get out their inheritance. I’m sure they were also relieved to not have to pay the property tax and insurance on the house any longer.
When Tom signed the contract with them, one of the siblings jokingly said, “Where were you four years ago?”. Tom was the solution they had been looking for. Tom is going to remodel the home and they want him to show it to them after it’s complete. I’m sure it will shine again and become a dream home of an opportunity for a new family to love.
